The Grand Princess Falmouth
The £300 million super cruise ship the Grand Princess moored in the Carrick Roads off Falmouth. The 951 ft ship weighs 109,000 tons and is part of the P&O line it can carry 2,600 passengers and has a crew of 1,100. The super cruiser has shops, a casino, a 750 seat theatre that stages Las Vegas style productions, a cinema, indoor and outdoor pools and three restaurants amongst its many attractions. Falmouth harbour, including Carrick Roads is reputed to be the third largest natural habour in the world. The waters around Falmouth offer a vast amount of activities including fishing and water skiing. The town has a number of shops to offer its visitors including the very popular Trago Mills.
