The Views of Cornwall photographer had competition in the shape of a female Spanish David Bailey when taking photos of the Town Crier. The oyster plays a unique role in Falmouth’s heritage and economy and the Falmouth Oyster Festival celebrates the start of the oyster harvesting season in October. Falmouth has one of the only remaining oyster fisheries that still dredge under sail and oar.
