"The beautiful village of Lerryn lies on the River Lerryn, a tributary of the River Fowey. The parish is Lerryn and St.Veep where the church is to be found. We are three miles from the ancient town of Lostwithiel (former capital of Cornwall) and about ten miles from either St.Austell ,Bodmin or Liskeard. The lovely port of Fowey is close by via a short ferry ride."
