The pretty village of Lerryn nestles in a peaceful valley and is surrounded by woodland and farmland The woods on either side of the river are beautiful and ideal for long walks and are believed to have been the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame's "Tales of the Riverbank". Fowey is close by via a short ferry ride.
